Chinmay Kumar T Résumé

Bengaluru, India · B.Tech AI & ML, 2026

I build machine‑learning systems that ship, not notebooks that stop.

Data curation and preprocessing pipelines, transformer-based information extraction, honest evaluation with precision, recall, F1 and error analysis, and containerised deployment behind Flask APIs. Comfortable with raw, incomplete and inconsistent data.

Looking for an AI/ML engineering internship in NLP, search, entity resolution or document intelligence.

About

Bengaluru, India

B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, 2026

Open to AI/ML engineering internships

I am an AI/ML engineer in Bengaluru with a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. What I enjoy is the whole system, not the notebook: curating and cleaning data that arrives raw and inconsistent, building the extraction or classification model, measuring it honestly with precision, recall, F1 and error analysis, and putting it behind an API in a container so someone else can actually use it.

Most of my recent work has been for a real business. I built and still run the construction management platform and public website for a Bengaluru builder, which taught me to start from how people already work before deciding what to build. Outside of that I have organised 24-hour hackathons, led Coding Club initiatives in AI and cloud, and mentored junior teams on taking projects from idea to deployment.

I am looking for an AI/ML engineering internship in NLP, search, entity resolution or document intelligence.

Skills

Also: SQL, NLTK, SHAP, Matplotlib, Seaborn, text normalisation, CNNs, regression, precision, recall and F1, ROC-AUC and threshold selection.

Work Experience

Product Engineer, Deva Construction

Jun 2026 – present · Bengaluru

Sole engineer for a turnkey residential builder's construction management platform: a Next.js web app with Supabase (Postgres, row-level security) and a native Android app, shipped in the same pass so the office and the site never drift apart.

  • Spent the first weeks on site and in the office before writing code, mapping how money, materials and labour actually move: who raises a bill, who approves it, when a client instalment falls due, and where paper and WhatsApp were losing information.
  • Turned that into the data model: an 11-stage lifecycle from marking and CAD to handover, stage-wise approvals, client payment schedules, supplier bills that settle automatically against approved payments, and daily attendance for labour.
  • Designed five roles around real people, not permissions on paper: the owner, site engineers, suppliers, workers and the client, each seeing only what their day needs, with a client login that shows progress without a phone call.
  • Kept a written decision log of every business rule and why it exists, so the product keeps answering the owner's questions instead of the developer's assumptions.

AI/ML Intern, Teknowgrade Pvt. Ltd.

Dec 2025 – Jan 2026

  • Built automated preprocessing and feature-extraction pipelines over real-world datasets, normalising inconsistent and incomplete fields before training.
  • Trained and evaluated models with Scikit-learn and TensorFlow, instrumenting loss and accuracy tracking to compare runs and diagnose underperforming configurations.
  • Integrated trained models against live production data and automated build and version-control checks across team repositories with GitHub Actions.
